Adhesive type’s effects on adhesive strength of densified reinforced laminated wood obtained from black poplar (Populus nigra L.)

Wood material is the most critical indoor and outdoor building element that has not changed since ancient times. Previous studies have determined mechanical properties of tree species with low industrial importance, such as poplar wood, can be improved when they are subjected to densification process. In addition, it been in lamination process a positive effect on wood material. This study aimed assess impact glue type bonding strength during densified black (Populus nigra L.) using reinforcement materials were at 140 °C for 10 min. Then, boards laminated 3 layers (Kevlar®®, fiberglass, carbon fiber) between two wooden boards. It was best result obtained combination Akfix polyurethane resin fiber (8.49 N/mm2).
